Cisco Anyconnect Disconnecting

Cisco anyconnect disconnects immediately

Connect to VPN: Step 1

The problem was that every time when I tried to connect via Cisco AnyConnect Client it kept looping through the connection and never made it connect. The fix is quite simple actually, go to Network Connections from Control Panel, right-click Cisco AnyConnect Security Mobility Client Connection, and choose Properties. Open the Cisco AnyConnect application on your computer. In the Start menu, click All Programs Cisco Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client; Click the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to launch the application. Step 2 Type in vpnconnect.rochester.edu then click Connect. Step 3 Enter your NetID and password. Something strange would happen when I connected to a Firepower 2130 running Firepower Threat Defense with Cisco AnyConnect. Basically, the AnyConnect client would contact the VPN gateway just fine, prompt for user credentials, authenticate and connect but then literally after about 3 seconds of being connected it would immediately drop and attempt to reconnect again. Cisco Anyconnect keeps disconnecting and reconnecting after 1 minute or so. Hi Guys, Hopefully someone can help me, we are having numerous users (not all) having an issue whereby when they connect to VPN using Cisco Any-connect (Version 4.3.04030) it keeps dropping the connecting after 1 minute or so maybe even 1 minute 10 seconds.

Open the Cisco AnyConnect application on your computer.

Cisco
  • Open Finder, then navigate to Applications > Cisco > Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
  • Click the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to launch the application.

Step 2

Type in vpnconnect.rochester.edu then click Connect.
